Dear G=C3=B6te,

Unfortunately I can already tell you  that several members of section=2=0
Franchetiana INCLUDING candidissimum do NOT necessarily need a period=2=0
of low temps during their dormancy period. I have found with all 4 
forms of candidissimum I grow and several forms of franchetianum that=2=0
they stick to their usual "internal clock" even when overwintered dry=2=0
at 15 C and break dormancy at their usual times...... Try growing it 
from seed, maybe it will then adept more easily to your type of season?
