Not an Arisaema but a close relative, I have a clump of Amorph. konjac
in the garden that has set seed, which are bright orange-red. Blue jays
have learned that these are quite tasty. Seedlings have emerged
throughout the garden so the seed survives the jays digestive track.
The plants die back during our winter and begin growth again in the
spring. I now dead-head the fruit to prevent spreading.
It's not a stretched to think that jays would be attracted to any red
berried fruit Arisaema and try it at least once.
