Hello everyone !

Last season the leaf stalks of my arisaemas grew very stretched and some
were rather twisted, as a result of which they broke. This caused a
premature ending of the growth.
The difference with what I used to do, is that I mixed the potting
compost with bone meal, some 3 months before potting.
I have to admit that I kept the potting compost in the pots constantly
moist and that I added as fertilizer every 12 to 14 days a
solution of appr. 1 0/00 20-20-20 plantprod. (1gr/liter)
What did I do wrong that could have caused this stretched and gnarled
growth of the leaf stalks ?
Eagerly awaiting your reactions, greetings,
Steef Parti
