Hi Ellen,
Just a note to let you know that years ago I got a single A. taiwanense
from you that was planted in the back yard under hardwoods. I checked
on the plant yearly and every year it came up and grew well. I had
forgotten about it these past few years but thought I would check on it
along with a Paris species that's planted nearby. The Arisaema now has
several seedlings growing within the drop zone for seed along with a
nice seed capsule developing this year. The Paris now consists of 3
plants. It's been so long I can't remember if I planted more than one
Paris in the area or if I'm now getting plants from seed from the
original plant.
I missed the flowering of the taiwanense this spring but the plant is
somewhere between 3 and 4 feet tall.
