Yes, I examined mine closely - no blotch. The blotched one had an obvious
blotch. If the blotch doesn't show much on yours, that would be good.
What I valued was the pure, clear. yellow color. More intense than the
usual flavum as well as the erect display.
I do agree with you completely on the candidissimum.
