Thanks Paul & Ray,

I was wondering more along the line of what the sprout or germinated seed=would look like being that there would be no above ground part produced =the first season. Would it just be an extension with a tuberlet produced =at its tip and with possibly a root projecting from that? Like a regular =Arisaema seedling minus the petiole and leaf? Have never seen images or i=llustrations of this.
