Hi Kathy
I grow all my aroids in pots and change the soil each fall.In my experiences,I
have had no problems transplanting dormant and/or blooming plants as long as I
take a decent root mass.I must confess I have found it extremely easy to grow
Arisaemas in pots as long as I protect them from extreme freezing in winter
and extreme heat in summer.I only change the soil in fall to weed out any
nasty critters hoping to make a winter home.Hope this helps Regards,Tina
