Not in the requested area but note that next week (16-24 April) is
Garden Week in Virginia, with gardens and many historic homes open this
week only for public tours.  For the schedules, see:

Each week a booklet is published giving details of the schedule county
by county in Virginia, a wealth of information on the history of homes
and their gardens.  Many of these places are open to the public only once
in a lifetime, during Garden Week.  The Schedule is online.

Come visit us!  Nearby I highly recommend the gardens at Morven Estate and
on the Grounds of the University of Virginia.
