Don't want to take up too much time with this, since it is off topic, but it
is of importance to everyone. My anti-virus log (Norton) reveals that I have
received 99 items that have been quarantined since March 22nd! The past few
days, I have been getting about 5 a day. It is VERY important to have an
anti-virus program on your machine AND to do automatic updates (it does it
in the background while you are connected to the internet). I have a slow
connection and it does slow things down a bit while the update is happening,
but I just remind myself how slow things would be if I got a virus instead.
In the past ten years, I have always done this and have never (to my
knowledge) had a virus. The scan (also automatic)always gives a clean
report. I do sometimes get an e-mail that says that a message of mine has
been rejected by the recipient because it had a virus, but that person is
invariably not in my address book and unknown to me. I have never heard an
explanation of this. My server is at a loss to explain it. My guess is that
someone is trying to get me to send a message to the "recipient" for some
nefarious purpose, which I never do.

That's my understanding, but Eric is checking with Listserv so we'll see
what, if anything, has changed,
The nature of a worm is to capture someone's address book and send itself
FROM one of more of those addresses TO all the others, So, it's not
surprising that it appears to come from Arisaema-L, but I doubt that
it actually does.
Interesting that many of us have not received it. Perhaps the virus
protection
software is really working,
