Brian,
Best control method for voles is a couple of good hunting cats. If, of
course, you like cats or want them on the property. After that, simple mouse
traps placed about where they run. Bait with peanut butter and sliced
apples. They are easier to catch then mice.... some will simply walk through
a trap if it is in their used pathway.
You can also use cages in the ground to protect your arisaema tubers for
insurance. Plastic or hardware cloth with work.
