Thanks Ernie for the illumination! I am chagrined and horrified as well.
You just have to love how these chat groups can clear-up longstanding
misunderstandings and myths!  Need to get a mole trap now for the one mole
in the upper rock garden, though I may spare the ones in the natural lawn
area as long as they stay there.  Know now what must have wiped out several
hundred Erythroniums in one large bed several years ago.
