Best wishes for the New Year from Christchurch, New Zealand, where we hav=e
had the wettest December in very many years - and coldest!
Today is forecast to be summer, then the weather will crack up again
tomorrow!
It has been a strange season for Arisaema. A. speciosum is usually the fi=rst
to do its thing but not this year. A ringens was the first together with
erubescens.
A candidissum, normally the last, has been "in flower" for a month, whils=t A
exappendiculatum is only now unfurling. A strange season indeed.
A. franchetianum and A ciliatum v liubaense mature at last and looking
stunning. I had hoped A costatum (sown 2001) might have obliged this year
but, alas, I shall have to be patient.
Actually, I'm surprised they haven't been drowned!
Does anybody know when the NARGS seed list will be going on-line? I read
somewhere, perhaps Alpine-L, that somebody had already received their lis=t.
Seed starting to form so let's hope it holds!

Kim Robert
Christchurch, N Z
Max (at the moment (mid-summer)) 10C!
