Jim,
I've grown it from seed. Takes about 4 years, if you don't force it, to bloom.
Mine are growing in full Carolina sun and that's a lot of sun believe me.
They've set seed every year for the last 8 years except one.
I really think they'd do better with some shade because they start to
go dormant in late July whereas the other Arisaema in semi-shade are
still spritely.
They actually came from plants growing along Little River (NC) that
were in shade,
