before this discussion on pollination,I noticed last week that a plant =
that I had as Asarum sp. no.5 from Denmark, which had been imported from ==
China, had produced lots of self sown seedlings in the pot around the =
crown of the plant. It is in flower at the moment and could be A. =
caudigerum. (I can supply a picture of the flower if anybody wants to =
see it)

Looking in the frame where I keep my asarums, all from china, I now see =
seedlings coming up in several places in the sand plunge.

A. hartwegii in another frame is a positive weed with self sown =
seedlings

This year I am busy with a paint brush to try and produce seed on the =
other chinese species.
