Howdy All,
A quick report from Down Under Land (the Australian bit, not New Zealand or
anywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere <grin>)..........
There be Arisaema flowers here!!!!! Yeah! Well technically it is actually
Arisaema "flower" without the plural, but it is a great start particularly
as it is a first flowering of Arisaema ringens for me. Very cool flower!!
Not sure if it is fully formed yet or still filling out, but either way it
is already most enjoyable. Out of interest how big should a flower of this
be? This is a first flowering from what I bought as I nearly mature
seedling last year, so I don't know whether it is supposed to be bigger
than it currently is .... so I thought I'd ask what sort of dimensions the
ringens flower should be?
There are shoots all over the place on arisaema younguns, plus a couple of
new shoots starting on some of the Adults. So nice to have starting to
come back for this year, but especially nice to finally have a real live
ringens flower in my very own garden <big grin>.
I hope you don't mind me bubbling on about this flower, which I'm sure many
of you all see every year. As you can tell I'm just a teensy weensy bit
pleased!! ;-)
Cheers.
