Brian--which form?.  Around here (Chicago area) the skunk cabbage grows in
the wet seep arising out the snow in a sort of creek, every March 29 or so.
Way too wet to walk in.   You may be planting it too dry,  conditions as for
calla palustris, darlingtonia, or Sarracenia would seem to be about
right--dryin out later, around May at the earliest.   Don't knlow your
