Jim,  my A. consanguineum have just broken the soil, about 2" high
and my A. fargesii have not appeared yet, but generally do not until
sometime in June when I am sure they are never going to return.  A.
candidissimum also shows late - so don't give up on yours yet; you
are north of me.
