I think there is a demand on this kind of reference sites but I don't thi=nk
this is working very well this way, especially not when there are many
postings on that list. What you would like to have is an overview of all
the A.triphyllum forms by example (to see all the pictures at once).
We are working on a web enabled (objectstore) database and this will be
operable within a month or so. I plan to include a search page for Arisae=ma
pictures soon afterward. Pictures will be accepted in the database from t=he
original author only and copyright will be included to avoid any problems
with that.
You can search for one or more Arisaema species names using wild cards an=d
you will get the result including small pictures (icons) of the specimen.
When you click on the small pictures, the full size picture will be shown.
This database will include much more information, like distribution etc. =on
which selection criteria can be chosen.
I was not ready to make this announcement yet, because we are still busy
with the testing, but now Chris's message triggered me.
