Dear Adam,
I use a dropper with water to flush up, suspend, and suck out the pollen
from a male inflorescence in place without removing it or damaging it.
Collecting pollen into a small (0.7cc) snap-top plastic vial involves
breaking open the spathe and turning the whole bloom upside down to brush
it out into the vial. This can be stored refridgerated, how long I'm not
sure.
