Comment re fertilization: Question 1) In general with most flowers, =the
flower rather rapidly shows the effect of fertilization by beginning to
wilt, and close up, thereby shortening the amount of time that it would
otherwise remain open. Don't know about arisaemas. Question 2). Don='t
know, but can't see why it would be necessary. In nature, I'd expect th=at
the plant could manage that routinely.
