Hello everyone,
I'd confirm what Paul in Oz says about the late growth of species,
especially candidissimum, consanguineum, ciliatum. I don't have fargesii =so
can't comment about that. The previous 3 don't start into growth until Se=pt
or even Oct (candidissimum), mid spring here, while thunbergii (which I a=lso
don't have but it is in bloom by Sept at the Dunedin Botanic Gardens,)
starts to make roots in autumn, after first rains in fact. Such a varied =and
exciting genus!
