Based on your objective, I recommend that you join the
International Aroid Society, subscribe to Aroid-L and consider adding
Amorphophallus species to your garden.

One of our members, Wilbert Hetterscheid of the Netherlands, is the
worlds expert on the genus. Sometimes he has extra tubers to give away.
He's in your AEG Member list that should arrive there shortly.
