Arisaema emergence and growth rate.

Hello all. I have a few questions and would like opinions or facts.  I need
to check my perceptions.    Two A. tortuosum came up in gthe last few days.
Both seemed to have grown 7' overnight.  I had not seen them the evening
before, and the next day--Voila!   There they were.  I doubted my own
senses, thinking that perhaps I'd overlooked them the day before  The second
time, I really searched my memor   and now believe that they grew 7"  inches
overnight--but would like confirmation or comment.  This happned also with
two different consanguineums.   I know that growth rates of bamboo can be
close to a foot in 24 hours, --is this also characteristic of some
arisaemas?  It should be mentioned that it rained heavily and the day
temperature was in the 90s (F.)   very  monsoon-like  weather, for the
