Yes. While the Tucker collection appears to be a different form, I've
seen my 30 cm natives double their size in a wet position, just as yours
did, David. As a corollary, they diminish after a dry spell. I have only
just started experimenting with other Arisaema species and moisture,
inhibited by the mantra "drainage, drainage, drainage."

It is hard to reconcile the incantation with what I see and with that sli=my
gloop that makes up the decaying old tuber from late summer to the
end of autumn. Does the drainage caution apply more to pots and to
their wilder temperature fluctuations?
