The Arisaema triphyllum in my garden range from one to two feet (30-60cm).
However, this summer I saw some in the woodland display at Rice Creek Gar=dens that were huge, fully three to three-and-a-half feet tall (90-100cm).
I asked if they were a different species and was told that they were stra=ight-up A. triphyllum. So I asked whythey were so much bigger than mine.
Regular irrigation and fertilizer were the answer. I seldom irrigate the =native wild area where mine grow and I don't add fertilizer.
I have noticed that the A. triphyllum near the birdbath grow much larger =than the others, but not nearly as large as those at Rice Creek. They get=daily watering from the birdbath, but no fertilizer except bird dropping=s,
All of mine are Minnesota native stock. The ones at Rice Creek came from =Pennsylvania. But I really think the difference is lots of water and the =slow release fertilizer they use.

the plant. It was easily 2 feet tall and grew in full sun. I redid the bo=g
last fall and so will have start anew with some fresh A. triphyllum bulbs.
I was wondering if others have a similar experience of growing these into
larger forms.
