Be careful! Last year we ordered Z. 'Black Forest' from the van Bourgondi=en
wholesale catalog. They were very shriveled when they arrived and rotten
after planting within about a week. They wouldn't send a refund, but
insisted that their policy was only to issue a credit. We made the mistak=e
of not insisting on a refund, which one has a right to do. Then, this yea=r,
they just didn't send a catalog. When we called a few days ago, they said
that the deadline for ordering from the wholesale catalog was Nov. 15th, =but
that we could order from the retail catalog!

So, caveat emptor! I think that 'Black Forest' and 'Schwarzwald' are exac=tly
the same thing.

Hi all,

I see that Van Bourgondien is offering Zantedeschia 'Black Forest' in the=ir
catalog this spring, cat. no. 74507 (US PP#11.001) @ $16.95 each. So
perhaps it is not the same as 'Schwarzwald'. Tel.
1-800-622-9997 http://www.dutchbulbs.com/

Wayside Gardens is selling Zantedeschia 'Black Pearl', cat. no. 8000, @
$9.95 each. Tel. 1-800-845-1124 http://www.waysidegardens.com/

Van Bourgondien also have the line of "Callafornia" hybrids and several
others.

Wayside is also offering several Arisaema species: candidissimum,
sikokianum, tortuosum, speciosium, and triphyllum.

This mention should in no way be construed as an endorsement of either Va=n
Bourgondien or Wayside Gardens by me or by anyone else!

Have fun!
