Hi all,

Out in my woodland garden, the Arisaema are starting to come up. AA.
ringens, sikokianum, sazensoo (in bloom), serratum (in bloom), and
triphyllum are coming up. A. triphyllum was in bloom yesterday 80 miles
from here in west-central Indiana. They are all looking fat and healthy as
they start to come up.

We are still waiting for candidissimum, consanguineum, draconitum,
fargesii, kishidae, thunbergii, and urushima to make their appearances.

I guess it's time I started planning or scheming to add some more of the
hardy arisaemas to my garden for next season. Does anyone care to suggest
some likely candidates? What would do well here in a somewhat sunnier
location than the southeast edge of my woodland garden?

Regards,
Jim Shields
in central Indiana
