Barry, what I am asking, but perhaps did not make myself clear, is: has t=he
intentional hybridization of serratum and tosaense been done (in both
directions, i.e. with either as seed parent), and, if so, what do the
offspring of this hybridization look like?

Arisaema ehimense has some characteristics of both alleged parents, but
also two obvious morphological characteristics not found in either
parent: a black spadix in many individuals, and long "drip tips" at the
ends of the leaflets.
