Thanks to all who answered concerning spontaneous garden hybrids. I guess
the risk of unintentional hybrid seed is not very great unless AA.
sikokianum and takedae or serratum and tosaense are grown together in the
garden, or many of the triphyllum subspecies and varieties, of course.
That was my main concern--whether seed from the exchange (or donated to t=he
exchange has a high probability of being true. I do feel confident that t=hat
is the case now. Thanks,
