Hello, all, after a long pause!
I have been keeping my mouth shut, waiting to read Guy Gusman's
book, anticipating that it will answer many of my questions about
Arisaema.
But today curiosity has got the better of me. Can anyone fill me
in?
1. handedness in the wrapping of spathes. I'd like to know what
to call it and what causes it. This year there was a discussion
of the phenomenon on Arisaema-L. If anyone seriously answered
these questions, I missed it. You will find a picture of
right-and left-wrapping A. candidissimum at

2. water droplets collecting at the ends of drip tips indoors.
There was a discussion of this a year or two ago. Is it agreed
that the cause must be too much water? Then -- at the roots? or
possibly in the air? You will find a picture of A. ciliatum var.
liubaense with a corona of water droplets at
http://www.hillkeep.ca/study_centre.htm
3. help in identifying an Arisaema, shown as Arisaema sp. at
http://www.hillkeep.ca/study_centre.htm.
