>Do newly-planted Arisaema bulbs ever sulk for a season

Often, especially in a drought like we're having here.

When do I start to panick?

Panic when you dig down and can't find a tuber. You'll never find a bulb
because Arisaema don't have bulbs.

Of course maybe they just resent your spelling their names wrong.
Should be A. candidissimum and A. consanguineum.

But then A. fargesii should have come up even though it's name has been
reduced to A. franchetianum. It can't be that fussy.
