Dear Wilbert;
Correct. The spadix is dull purple, but the spathe is as you
described and as Peter writes. Well Buyer beware. Same description in
the 2002 catalog.

I have an as yet unbloomed plant from Hoog and Dix, so can't
confirm them as a source either.
