Or maybe the seedheads are so innocuous that we never see them. I guess
after flowering we just see the thick clump of leaves. I must admit I have
never looked for seed.
Here in Canberra ours are just shooting, with the mice just starting to
appear now. I will try to keep track of some flowers and see if there are
any signs of seeds. It is also possible that our respective eco-systms
just don't have whatever the pollination vector is in their native habitat?
