Petra,
My tuber has just got into flower, but the leafs are still unfolding. Thi=s is
the large arisaema
with a smooth, cylindrical (reddish-green) leaf-stalk of nearly one meter
with 3 leaflets with
a red margin?
I checked the central-veins at the bottom of the leafs with magnifying-gl=ass
but there were
no clear hairs (yet). There were however some whitish scales in the
depressions between the individual vessels in the stalk that may stand ou=t as
'hairs' when the leaf fully unfolds.
If it starts to develop hairs the coming days, i'll let you know.
By the way, this is a beautiful species!
Best regards,
George Schonthaler
