Handedness in all other contexts is determined by grasping. In this case
the stem
with thumb pointing toward the spathe and curling the fingers around the =stem.
If the spathe overlaps in the direction of the fingers, the hand grasping
the stem
determines handedness, left or right.

This rule is derived from the rule used in determining curl in electromag=netic
phenominon, polarization in optics and magnetics.

Damn, I knew all that EE and Optics training would be useful some day.
