Hi All,
Just joined AEG. My garden is Hosta Hill (established 1969) in Tucker, Ge==
orgia, 20 miles northeast of Atlanta; at elevation 1188 feet AMSL, USDA h==
ardiness zone 7a, while everything around and below my hill is 7b; locati==
on 84 degrees 12' 34" W and 33 degrees 52' N. I garden on 1/2 acre - no g==
rass whatsoever! Loblolly pine overstory and many dogwoods under them. 60==
0 species and cultivars of Hosta (wrote The Genus Hosta for Timber Press)==
and about 1200 other species and cultivars, mostly shade perennials (jus==
t finished another book for Timber Press An Encyclopedia of Shade Perenni==
als - out in September/October); including collections of aroids: Acorus,==
Alocasia, Amorphophallus, Arisaema, Arisarum, Arum, Calla, Colocasia, Dr==
