No problem.
I'm not familiar with AOL, but in MS Outlook Express it's quite simple. A=s
you mentioned yourself you can in MS OE set this feature in the options
menu. Or you can per message set the format in which to send it, by
selecting the Format option in the New message window and select the
required format. That's about it I guess. Hope this helps.
