Rotten Mites

Petra,

Spider mites can be a (minor) problem on Arisaema leaves, especially when
pot-grown. I have never had any major damage om my plants but it sometimes
happens in my collection after a period of hot weather and low air humidity.
Mites on tubers is also new to me but maybe the mites Robin is talking about
are related to the mites that attack the pseudobulbs of Pleione-orchids?

I'm in agreement with Ray and Jim, Robin...it would be interesting to see
one of those mite-infested tubers.  I don't think I've even ever seen mites
on leaves of Arisaema.
