Petra Schmidt asked:
Can anyone verify that spathe color in Arisaema triphyllum is an
indication
of sex? Meaning, is the greenish spathe color associated with
maleness and
the purplish color indicative of female?
To the best of my knowledge, No. I am sure I have had seeds from
both. The other consideration is that they change sex, but they
the color of the spathe does not change.
