everyone to tears---I have just found a newly purchased Arisaema
consanguinium tuber? corm? has sent up a new shoot, as we are heading into
winter I am wondering what is the best way to deal with it.
Our days are about 13C now and our nights are getting colder
with frosts
around -2C forecast soon. Would it be ok to 1. put the pot outside during
the day and bring in at night
2.leave out at night under shelter
of eaves
3. Keep inside till the plant goes
to sleep again

I'd favor #1 or #3. When it goes dormant, refrigerate it (either in or out of
the pot, but almost dry) for about three months and then bring it into growth
again. That should get it on the southern hemisphere timetable.
