Ray,
I am sorry to say but A. kelung-insularis is definitely NOT a synonym of =A.
taiwanense. If it is a synonym then it is one of the Taiwanese form of A.
consanguineum. It was originally described by Hayata as A. kelung-insular=is
and later named as A. consanguineum var. kelung-insularis (1960) by Huang.
In "The systematic study of Taiwanese Arisaema" (1996) however Wang makes=no
mention of A. kelung-insularis anymore and treats it as a synonym of A.
consanguineum. From what I know it is able to produce 2 leaves that
generally have narrower leaflets than the usual A. consanguineum. From wh=at
I have seen of A. kelung-insularis so far, I think Wang was right.

Bob,
You probably won't find much on it because A. kelung-insularis Hayata is
just
a synonym for A. taiwanense.
