I've been searching the archives for a description of the above, but to n=o
avail.  Heronswood is  listing it in the current catalog.  I see that it =was
described in 1915 and is from Taiwan (Formosa) but that is all I have bee=n
able to find out.  In any case, I ordered it along with A. formosanum,
intermedium, jacquemontii,propinquum and yamatense var. sugimotoi to try
here in my Zone 6 1/2 garden.  I've ordered 19 new ones for Spring.  The
snow has just left the Arisaema bed, so we have a month to go to catch up
with Ray in Raleigh.   Bob Savage
