Hi Our There!
Spring is trying very hard to begin and I have two native American arisae=mas
up from seed planted undeer our large Oak tree. They are about 3-4" high.
These are very special after several attempts these are the first America=n
Arisaemas I have produced the old fashion way. The Arums keep coming up =from
seed I planted in a pot several weeks ago. These are my first Arums from
seed.
Have a A.sikokianum and A. saxatile just pushing thru the soil. This I t=hink
is the earliest I have had the Arisaemas to push through the earth.
This is a very exciting time for me when plants begin to wake up from the
months of cold weather.
I am wondering when the seeds list will be forwarded to everyone. I just
became a member in January so I think I noticed that something would be s=ent
out at the end of Feb. I have enjoyed being a member of this group and t=he
messages have been helpful to me. I'm learning and working hard toward g=ood
results with the germination of seed.
I hope everyone has a good growing year! Ray Maynard
