Arisaema flavum variegatum

Hi folks,

I saw seeds for Arisaema flavum variegatum on offer in the Alpine Garden
Society's seed list. As an Arisaema AND variegated plant fanatic, this got
me pretty excited and of course I requested some, with a big circle around
the list number, just for good measure. Alas, although the post brought
seeds today these, by now, ultra-desired seeds, were not inside the
envelope.

So this brings me to the next part of my quest. Who donated the seeds? This
list seems to be a good first port of call.... Can any of you tell me
whether this plant is worth hunting the four corners of the planet for? Does
anyone have a picture?

Most Arisaemas are dormant here at the moment, just a few of Greg Ruckertt's
1998 expedition plants shooting up in my lightbox. I have been very pleased
with the growth of all of his seeds. Some have flowered already, and some
had really good variegation on the leaves. Once I can get my newly acquired
digital camera working, I'll be able to put photos on my new website
http://homepage.eircom.net/~terranovaplants.

Hope this is a great year for you all.

Best wishes

Deborah Begley (Co. Limerick, Ireland)
