Dear all,
since years I give away surplus bulbs from my arisaema collection. Now al=l
friends have them - wanted or not - in their gardens and my pots are full
again. Yesterday I count the absolutely not needed bulbs, there are more
than three dozens of each flavum and fargesii (surely not franchetianum).
The flavums are all grown from seeds in 1998, now they=B4re about a half =to
one inch and the first will flower next season. The bulbs of fargesii are
grown from seeds in 1997, now they=B4re about one to two inches. Also som=e of
these will flower next year. Some 50 fargesii bulbs are less than 1 inch =and
are doughters from the others. Some of these small bulbs are maybe dorman=t
next year.
Now I like to give them away, if possible in exchange. I almost have thes=e
species: amurensis, angustatum peninsulae, candidissimum, ciliatum,
concinnum, consanguineum, dracontium, fargesii, flavum, heterophyllum,
jaquemontii, rhombiforme, ringens, serratum, tortuosum, triphyllum and
yunnanense. All others are welcome for exchange.
For those who like to get some bulbs but don=B4t have somethin to offer I=like
to send them in refund of the postage. From here a parcel to the United
States (via ship) costs about 10$ (via air mail unfortunately 20$), withi=n
Europe less than 8$ (via air mail 11$), in Germany 7,10 DM.
It=B4s the first time I offer my plants for mail distribution, if there i=s
anybody who can give me some tips for a secure (or a cheaper) bulb
distribution is welcome to inform me.
Have a good start in the next week.
Alex from Germany
