Ray and all,
I've gotten seeds from Rachel Saunders for several years, including
Zantedeschia. At the moment I'm starting Z. albomaculata. I intend to
test these for cold hardiness here in central Indiana (USDA cold zone 5,
AHS heat zone 6 to 8).
I checked the document Ray mentioned and it looks, from a superficial
glance, that the Arisaema in Africa are all in the Equatorial region and
northward. That would be why I have not run across them in my scrounging
for southern African bulbs.
I'll be in the Republic of South Africa for 3 weeks starting in about 10
days. I'll ask around about Araceae while I'm there. I'll see Rachel
while I'm there. Other possible sources of southern African geophytes in=clude:
