Joyce,
I hope you haven't thrown any of the pots with Arisaema seeds away. Many
Arisaema grow
entirely underground the first year and only show a leaf shoot in the
second season. Lots
of people have thrown away perfectly good plants before they realized
this.
The cost of running AEG is born by voluntary member donations, usually
after each seed distribution. They've been running from $10 to $15 per
member/year. A donation can be made at any time to either:
G. R. Stilwell, Jr.
11900 Coachman's Way
Raleigh, NC 27614
or
Craig Stubbs
15 Princess St.
P.O. #596
Brooklin,Ontario
Canada L0B 1CO
Hope this year's seeds do well for you. I'd suggest searching the
Arisaema-L archives
<http://listserv.surfnet.nl/archives/arisaema-l.html>
for the very helpful information on seed germination found there. You can
get your seeds
to bloom in a little over 2 years if you use the methods described in the
archives.
