Hi Gene and all
I got 4 large tubers of A.griffithii , 2 of them are planted in a raised ==
rock bed, together with various other species, this bed can be protected ==
from winter rain, the other 2 tubers are planted out in the ordinary =
soil in the garden, where they grow unprotected.
All tubers are planted in late autumn 99, 2 flowers last year, there are ==
apparently no difference in health of the tubers, from the 2 given =
conditions, I might consider the ones planted in the open garden a bit =
better than the others ! I have however encountered problems with =
A.griffithii var pradhanii, which rot without no apparent reason, all =
the mentioned tubers are from Udai C. Pradhan in India.
