Just for curiosity: is there a n y Aroid which will develop a dissected
and not a simple first leaf ?
All seedlings from P. cordata, P. pedadisecta, P. pedata and P.
tripartita form a single leaf. Seedlings of P. cordata can be told apart
from others for their coloring (see Ellen's mail above). Others might
be only told apart by their size, but not for leaf's coloring or form: in
the average the largest ones are those of P. pedadisecta, followed by
P. pedata and the smallest can be found in P. tripartita. But sizes
vary greatly, so do not rely on it.
