Hello to you ALL! I would like to tell you all how glad I am to be back, how much I've missed you, how much I look forward to the postings, and how often I think about all the "knowledged I've missed"!
I especially want to send a very special thank you to Ray! He hung in there with me and perservered through ( literally) MONTHS of " I have an new email" and "I promise it will work this time" and every other frustration I've been through with computers for the last ????year?? Finally---through snail mail- he tracked me down and helped me get back in touch with all of you! There's alot to be grateful for when it comes to machines and technology, but there's even more to be said for people like Ray....who take the time to care! I truly thank you, Ray!
And now for my list of "amateur questions"......1.) My A taiwanense is 4 years old ( this will be it's 5th season) and sets a huge seed head, none of which are viable. Does it need a 2nd to produce seed? 2.) I have 2 A. rhombiforme that have produced many "pups". From these I have foliage but no flower. How old must they be to flower? ( the parent corymbs are about the size of a grapefruit) 3.) My A.sikkokianum, du bois, reymondiae, and candidissimum ( both red and white) were purchased from a local nusery ( who purchased from Chen Yi) and are now in there second season. I have planted them in pairs. Does this help and what can I expect?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all-
Shawn
